Pet Policy

It is understood and agreed that these policies must be followed for the pet to be allowed:

  1. All pets must be indoor pets with a weight limit of 25 pounds and under.
  2. No more than two (2) pets per apartment
  3. All cats must be de-clawed and spayed/neutered, with a letter from the attending veterinarian provided for the resident’s file
  4. No visitor pets are permitted
  1. Residents will be responsible for any and all damage caused by pets, whether in the apartment or in any other areas of the building or grounds, including landscaping. Resident shall be strictly liable for the entire amount of any injury to a person or property of others, caused by pet and resident shall indemnify owners for all costs of litigation and attorney’s fees.
  2. Pets must be kept on a leash when being walked outside the apartment.

Pets must be walked in designated areas (if provided).

  1. Pets are not to be left unattended while outside the apartment or on patios/balcony.
  2. Pet houses are not permitted on patios/balconies.
  3. Pets are not to be left inside unit bathrooms unattended and this may cause flooding if the toilet hose is chewed on.
  4. Waste elimination from the pet must be disposed of properly by the pet owner. Soiled cat litter must be placed in a plastic trash bag and securely tied prior to disposal.
  5. Pets must not be a nuisance; repeated neighboring resident or staff noise complaints will constitute a nuisance. If, in the judgment of management, the pet disturbs any of the residents of the apartment community, the resident agrees, on ten (10) days written notice, to remove said pet permanently from the premises.
  6. A deposit of $500 per pet is required and will be paid prior to the pet entering the premises and will remain on account until the apartment is vacated by the resident. The deposit may be applied to cover the costs of any damage to the apartment, or to other areas of the building or grounds, caused by the pet. The resident will be responsible for any further costs resulting from the above-mentioned damage. The resident further agrees to hold management and the owner of the apartment community harmless from any claim by reason of said pet being on the premises.
  7. We do not allow what are considered aggressive breeds of dogs. The following are a few examples, but not limited, to those now allowed:
  • Pit Bull
  • Doberman
  • Rottweiler
